A fireplace cassette is a closed insert that is installed in an open fireplace. It works like a modern fireplace insert: the fire burns behind a glass pane in a closed combustion chamber, which makes combustion more efficient, safer and cleaner. The heat is released into the room in a more targeted manner.

As a rule, you do not need planning permission. However, the installation must be carried out by a specialist company and approved by an authorized chimney sweep. Among other things, the chimney sweep checks the suitability of the chimney and compliance with legal regulations.
The basic requirement is a stable, open fireplace with a functioning flue (chimney). The dimensions also play a role - but even for unusual dimensions, we at Spartherm offer custom-made solutions. Your specialist dealer will advise you individually.
