What is a fireplace cassette and how does it work?
A fireplace cassette is a closed insert that is installed in an open fireplace. It works like a modern fireplace insert: the fire burns behind a glass pane in a closed combustion chamber, which makes combustion more efficient, safer and cleaner. The heat is released into the room in a more targeted manner.
Is it worth converting an open fireplace with a fireplace cassette?
Yes, definitely. A fireplace cassette has several advantages:
