Spartherm favours steel. In particularly hot, critical areas, we also use a stainless steel known as austenitic steel. This highly heat-resistant steel is perfect for applications with hot flue gas and components in contact with flames up to 1100 °C. It is also rustproof. It is also rustproof. Due to the thinner material thickness, steel appliances guarantee faster heat dissipation than cast iron appliances.
In general, steel heating inserts are considerably lighter than cast iron appliances. This makes them much more convenient and easier to install for the stove fitter. As a result, you benefit from a replacement that usually only takes half a day.
